Why its different

Most GLP-1 support is an app, a points system or a meal plan. This is none of those.

This is personalised, practitioner led care. No algorithms, no chatbots, no generic content library. You work with the same clinician throughout, in live sessions, with a plan built around your body, your history and your life, and adjusted as all three change.

We are Registered Nutritional Therapists practising nutrition and lifestyle medicine, with training in psychotherapy, which means the nutritional work (protecting muscle, supporting digestion, maintaining nutrient status on a small appetite), the lifestyle work (sleep, movement, stress, the rhythm of your days) and the psychological work (what eating was regulating, and who you are when hunger goes quiet) happen together, with one practice, in one integrated programme.

This is not a prescribing service. We work alongside your prescriber, whether that is your GP, clinic or pharmacy, providing the clinical and psychological scaffolding the medication alone cannot.

How it works

Fees are shared at enquiry Get in touch to discuss getting started.

Step One · The GLP-1 Consultation

We begin with a full clinical consultation: your health history, current diet, body composition, lifestyle and your relationship with food and hunger, wherever you are with the medication. Still deciding, newly started, or months in. You leave with your personalised MeyaHealth Roadmap.

Step Two · Fortnightly Sessions

From there, we meet every two weeks for 30 minutes, online, for as long as you are on the medication. Focused, practical and consistent: reviewing how you are eating and tolerating food, protecting muscle and nutrient status, troubleshooting side effects, tending to sleep, movement and stress, and working with whatever the quiet appetite brings up. Your plan evolves as your dose, body and life do.

Step Three · The Off Ramp, When You Are Ready

If and when you decide to come off the medication, the sessions carry you through titration and beyond: appetite re education, hunger literacy, and a plan for eating and living well when appetite returns. There is no fixed end date, because the medication does not have one either. You stay as long as it serves you.

Who this is for

You are taking, or considering, a GLP-1 medication such as Wegovy or Mounjaro, prescribed by a doctor, clinic or pharmacy

You want to protect your muscle, energy and nutrient status while the weight comes off

You want the whole of your health attended to: food, sleep, movement, stress, not just the number on the scale

You suspect, or know, that your eating has never only been about food

You want a real practitioner who knows your case, not an app, a chatbot or a content library

You want results that hold after the prescription ends

This programme is not a source of GLP-1 medication, a substitute for medical care, or a quick fix. It is the work around the medication that makes the difference.

What the work covers

The sessions move through four territories, not on a fixed timetable but as your journey on the medication unfolds:

Foundations

Baselines and early architecture: navigating side effects such as nausea, reflux and sluggish digestion, and building a way of eating that works with the medication rather than against it.

Protecting the Body

The clinical heart of the work. Appetite suppression makes under eating protein almost inevitable without a plan, and muscle loss follows. Protein strategy, nutrient density when portions are small, digestive support for slowed gastric emptying, movement and strength work to preserve lean mass, and targeted supplementation where appropriate.

Living Well on GLP-1

Weight is not the whole story. Sleep quality, energy, stress, alcohol, social eating and the rhythm of your days all shape how the medication works and how life feels while you are on it. This is lifestyle medicine in practice: small, sustained changes that compound.

The Quiet Appetite

When food noise disappears, many people meet, sometimes for the first time, what eating was managing: stress, boredom, reward, comfort, grief. We work gently with what surfaces, drawing on our psychotherapeutic training. It is the part of GLP-1 support almost nobody offers, and the part that determines whether your results last.

Your MeyaHealth Roadmap is updated as you move through each territory, and the off ramp is woven in whenever you choose it: appetite re education and hunger literacy, so that when appetite returns, you know how to live with it. For some clients, a structured fasting practice becomes the natural next chapter.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • No. The initial consultation works for people still deciding, just starting, or already months into the medication.

  • As long as you are on the medication, and through coming off it, if that is your path. Fortnightly sessions continue for as long as they serve you, with no fixed end date and no long term tie in.

and hopefully continue to support you.

  • No. That remains between you and your prescriber. Our role is the nutritional, lifestyle and psychological support alongside it, and we are happy to communicate with your prescribing clinician where helpful.

  • That is precisely when this support matters most. Coming off is where most regain happens. The sessions carry you through titration, appetite re education and beyond.

  • Online, or in person in North London.
