ABOUT
Meya Health embodies our vision of flowing health
At Meya Health we use a functional medicine approach to support your health. We know that the right foods and lifestyle choices can transform your life and create a strong foundation for balance, resilience and wellbeing.
Alexandra and Julieta are clinically trained functional nutritionists based in London and working with clients worldwide. With nearly 20 years of combined experience, they offer a comprehensive practice rooted in science-backed nutritional protocols, functional testing, and coaching for meaningful change.
Alexandra is a Nutritional Therapist, Health Coach, and trainee Psychotherapist with a strong focus on the gut-brain connection and its profound role in healing and mental health. Her journey began nearly 17 years ago, inspired by her child’s early developmental delays and a determination to go beyond conventional medical approaches that did not have an answer for her. Through a deep dive via the Clavera Method over three years, she focused on targeted nutrition, healing foods, orthomolecular supplementation, functional testing, and the microbiome — and her child made a full recovery. This experience continues to shape her integrative and individual approach to client care.
In practice, Alexandra works with individuals of all ages facing complex health challenges, including autoimmune conditions, neurodegenerative conditions, spectrum disorders, eating disorders, weight management, and menopause — which she approaches through a deep understanding of the whole-body interconnectedness.
Meet Alexandra
Alexandra’s work is grounded in clinical insight, functional testing, and personalised support, empowering clients to achieve sustainable improvements in wellbeing. She also has a keen interest in longevity principles, continually exploring new ways to optimise health and vitality across the lifespan.
Alexandra was an early founder of Breadblok, an organic, gluten-free bakery chain developed in response to her child’s gluten intolerance, and currently holds a position as a non-exec director of a better-for-you condiment brand operating across the UK and US. In her earlier career as a consultant, Alexandra developed a strong foundation in strategy and branding. She holds an MA from Johns Hopkins University and a BA from Tufts University. She trained at the College of Naturopathic Medicine (CNM), the Institute for Integrative Nutrition (IIN), and is currently training at the Centre for Counselling and Psychotherapy Education (CCPE) in London. She is a member of BANT and ANP, and is fluent in English, Spanish, and French.

Meet Julieta
Julieta is a registered Nutritional Therapist and certified Metabolic Balance® practitioner. She specialises in metabolic health, weight management, hormonal balance, digestive wellbeing, and burnout recovery, with a growing focus on health optimisation at any age — including support for clients using GLP-1 medications.
A member of BANT, ANP, and the CNHC, Julieta holds a Diploma in Naturopathic Nutrition from the College of Naturopathic Medicine and is also a certified Nutrigenomics Practitioner with Lifecode Gx, allowing her to integrate genetic insights into highly personalised care.
Her journey into nutritional therapy began with her own health challenges. After managing high-pressure Latin American PR accounts across time zones, her circadian rhythm and hormones became severely disrupted, leaving her unrecognisable to herself.
In 2013, Julieta began training in nutrition — first to heal her own body, and ultimately to help others do the same. Now a mother of three, she brings deep empathy and lived experience to her work, helping individuals and families restore energy, balance, and confidence through functional nutrition and sustainable lifestyle changes.
Beyond clinical practice, Julieta holds an MSc in Human Rights from the London School of Economics. She is passionate about social impact and actively seeks opportunities to support NGOs and community organisations in London. Her work is grounded in the belief that health is a human right — and that nutrition can be a powerful tool for empowerment and long-term wellbeing.
Julieta works fluently in both English and Spanish.
